Our town has a Halloween costume contest for pets. What are some good ideas for a costume? I do not want to buy one I want to make one so come up with some good ideas. I can make anything so give me easy or hard ones to make. I do not want the usual I want something unique.

ok, every year i enter my dog (6 lbs. black chihuahua: male) in a pet costume contest. I want this year to be his year! We need something EXTREME!!! Totally amazing! something that will have to win! Last year the winner was Molly Monroe (Marilyn Monroe) She had a white gown, riding on a parade-float-looking wagon. she was so cute!!! We were thinking of doing a fireman- with uniform, hat, axe, and fire extinguisher (not real, lol), and have him ride on a wagon that is dressed up like a fire truck… but are there any other suggestions?

i have a black mare and im going with all leather tack nothing shiny on her at all and i have a headless horseman costume!!!!! my girl gonna be on a palomino with a trench coat and a wig gonna be a pg lady gadiva! will post pics after halloween! have fun!

I had previously posted about ideas for dressing up my Spike to enter a pet Halloween costume contest.
I am going to go with the rocker guy idea and see how that goes.
He has a skull harness, leash, and T-shirt, and I got him a spike collar. I am going to try to find a small play guitar to put on his back and some sunglasses. I also want to make him a mohawk, which is the main thing I would like advice about.
Any ideas on how I can make one? The only thing I can really think of doing is buying a small wig and cutting it down to size, also cutting and spiking up the hair. How can I spike up the hair and connect the mohawk and the sunglasses to the top of his head to where they will stay for a while and won’t hurt him?

Hi! So for halloween I was going to dress my rabbits up as han solo and princess leia. Its actually their names so I thought itd be cute. I also have a 30 pound cat and was going to dress him up as jabba the hut. I was trying to think of any way to do these outfits in a cute way.

last time there was a pet show, my dog didn’t place. its an amature show so its based on looks alone. Everyone said she was gonna when cause she was the cutest dog there. But the same dog won every catagory mine was in. Is there any secrets i know she has the looks, but i see the other owners doing tricks at the judges table, even though there is a contest for that, and those are the dogs winning. my baby cant do anything but sit, and the contest is next week. i think last time cause she was in a costume that took away from her looks, but is there a way to do better? i really want to bet my ex friend who took home 3 1st places last time! help!

I am going to enter my dog in our local dog expo and there is a pet show. they told me that my dog has to look cute I don’t if they mean to put her in a costume but if that is what they mean does anyone have ideas as to what to do. She is a Shih Tzu
I plan on taking her to a groomer I always have but Willl it matter if the place I get her groomed is the place that is hosting the expo
